Takeoffs & Estimation Two Ways
Review two approaches to construction takeoff and estimation – one using Autodesk Assemble with a BIM model and another using Bluebeam Revu with PDF construction drawings (CD). Both approaches help to provide accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for creating competitive bids.
The presentation is two parts:
April 13th - April McCall, Bluebeam specialist will describes estimating in a 2D format using Bluebeam.
June 8th - Josh Miller, from Kelar Pacific will give a presentation regarding the use of BIM and Assemble to automate takeoff quantities with the use of a model.
