Safety Awards Programs
The purpose of The Builders Safety Excellence Awards program is to recognize member companies on a local basis with elite safety and health programs. The program closely and confidentially examines each candidate’s commitment to safety, occupational health management and risk management. Judges look for evidence of company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
The National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program has been an ongoing effort since 1991 to offer AGC members an opportunity to evaluate their safety record. Participating members receive a confidential printout to compare their company’s safety statistics with similar size and type AGC members both locally and nationally. The NASA provides a great opportunity for members with excellent safety records to compete for nationally recognized awards. Additionally, this information can be used to assist in determining if additional accident prevention and loss-control measures are necessary.
The Construction Safety Professional of the Year (CSPY) award is dedicated to corporate, regional, or project safety and health professionals. For more information on the CSPY, please click here.

The purpose of the National AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) is to recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. CSEA will closely examine each candidate's commitment to safety and occupational health management and risk control. Unlike the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program that limits the criteria to frequency rates, the CSEA selection process is considerably more comprehensive. Judges will look for evidence of company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
