The Builders’ Association Safety and Health Services Programs are designed to empower members with the resources to achieve safety and health excellence. As the insurance market continues to harden, regulatory requirements become stricter, and the number of significant lawsuits in our industry increase, contractors must implement effective methods to control these types of expenditures. To help members control these expenditures, we have an in-house team of highly experienced safety and health professionals ready to partner with your organization. TRAINING SERVICES - Properly educating your workforce is essential in meeting today’s ever-changing insurance and regulatory requirements. Our consultants conduct numerous training sessions each year, educating thousands of people. We can customize training programs to meet your organization’s needs and document the training with our state-of-the-art computerized picture Data Card System. |

BUILD SAFE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (BSPP) -To improve the safety and health of construction workers in the Midwest we have a premier partnership program for member companies with elite safety and health programs. Participants of this program will receive special incentives from OSHA, including being removed from OSHA’s program inspection list for up to 12 months after successful conclusion of an OSHA verification inspection, conducted per the current policy for focused inspections. We have partnership agreements with the following Area OSHA offices; Kansas City-Missouri, St. Louis-Missouri, Wichita-Kansas, and Omaha-Nebraska. |

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SERVICES - We can provide valuable technical information and monitoring for common industrial hygiene problems. Our professionals have the knowledge and equipment to help your organization identify existing and potential hazardous exposures involving noise, confined spaces, fumes, dust, gas, and mist. |

CONSULTING SERVICES - Every contractor needs a safety and health professional on board. Some contractors are large enough to need a full-time individual; while others realize that adding the expense of another full-time staff member may not be the best way of addressing their particular situation. Our experienced consultants focus on providing proven solutions to effectively manage exposures relevant to your organization. We can design and provide for your organization affordable safety and health consulting services on an hourly, weekly, or monthly basis. |

SAFETY BULLETIN PROGRAM - Periodic Safety Bulletins are provided to members to keep them current with pertinent OSHA, MSHA, and DOT information and training schedules. |

WEEKLY SAFETY TRAINING TOPICS - To assist members with their weekly safety and health training efforts, we provide weekly toolbox training topics. These weekly safety and health training topics are composed in house, updated monthly, and are provided to members free of charge. |

SAFETY AWARDS - In an ongoing effort to formally recognize member companies for their accomplishments in safety and health we offer a variety of safety award programs members can compete in on a local and national basis. |
