On April 26, 2007, The Builders’ Association signed a new five-year Regional Build Safe Partnership Agreement with OSHA-Kansas City Regional Office, OSHA-Kansas City Area Office, OSHA St. Louis Area Office, OSHA-Wichita Area Office, and the OSHA-Omaha Area Office. The partnership provides incentives to participating contractors who voluntarily improve their safety and health performance. Incentives include special recognition from OSHA, e.g., removal from OSHA’s general inspection list, focused inspections, and reductions in penalties.
