Help us volunteer at Hillcrest transitional housing

Your Community Service Chair, Steven Crosley, has been working hard on your behalf the last few months in order to get Hillcrest transitional housing a new playset. From coordinating the regrading of the site, having the donated playset relocated and installed, to even getting a chain link fence installed to keep the kids safe. He has done the hard work, now all you need to do is show up on October 20th to help spread mulch around the playset and also paint the inside of an onsite apartment.

Please bring shovels, rakes, pitch forks, gloves and wheelbarrows if you have them. Be sure to wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on.

Hillcrest Transitional Housing offers displaced families a disciplined educational program within a caring Christian environment. Unlike many organizations whose focus is immediate or emergency care, Hillcrest's objective is to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 90 days by addressing the total live situation of the homeless families they serve.
